Bill Of Materials"We need the BOM so we can start ordering materials for this hot job!"With delivery times as short as they are these days, creating the BOM quickly is more important than ever. DIEMAKER gives you tools to help you get the job done fast, without a lot of typing. While you balloon the drawing DIEMAKER helps you add the data that later becomes the BOM. Default sizes are automatically calculated and offered for your acceptance.
Typing is kept to a minimum by offering side screen menus that allow you to pick values for things like thickness, heat treat, and material type.
In case you need to make a revision, (it may happen), detail numbers in balloons can be automatically re-sequenced or shifted to make space for more details. When you're ready to produce a chart, DIEMAKER can automatically extract the BOM data from your balloons and tags. The data can be placed into an automatically generated table or into your own custom table, or even into a text file on your hard disk.
When you edit the balloon data, the chart can be automatically be updated.
